"The Quadrant was our favourite hotel in Auckland. We were travelling on a budget and were shocked to find such a nice place for such an affordable price. Rooms were small, yet modern and cheerful, and very clean. Kitchenette was nice as well as washer and dryer. We were sad to leave and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Auckland. Good location too, nice quiet street, but near the main areas."

"Short & sweet: this hotel delivers on what it promises. Great rooms,
great staff, great service, great free wireless, great value. There's
even a wallof signed CD covers & my kids would be stoked to know
that the Wiggles have stopped by. Don't let that put you off, there are
plenty of covers signed by funkier groups & individuals.
As a
Kiwi living in Oz, I'm self-congratulating for my choice of Air NZ for
flights & The Quadrant for accom. Congratulations to the staff of

"I left my glasses in my hotel room when I checked out. I asked someone at the place I was working call the Quadrant, and was hugely grateful that the glasses were found, put in a taxi and delivered to where I was working. Great service, and much appreciated."

"Wow!! Made a reservation for two nights at this hotel for our last two days on vacation in wonderful New Zealand. I was so very impressed with our stay there. Very, very helpful staff. We booked a great rate that included free high speed internet. Reserved a one bedroom apartment. Extremely clean and a fairly well stocked kitchen - we even cooked one night. Great small refridgerator; very comfortable bed. The bathroom was small, but quite big enough for the two of us. Shower was great. Brilliant tv. Great distant view of the harbour. Delicious breakfast and coffee. The bar looked wonderful, too. Would go back tomorrow if I could. Oh, before I forget - the location is perfect. Right next to Albert Park, close to Queen St., great shops, fantastic restaurants. Can't wait to go back."

"We stayed here for several nights in June 2010. The check in process was
a slow since the lobby is rather small, but there's a beautiful zen
courtyard to look at while waiting. The hotel has a contemporary/trendy
feel to it and was very clean. The room was not large but the creative
use of sliding wall dividers gave the 3 adults in our party plenty of
room and privacy. The well-appointed kitchen with washing machine was a
big bonus, but the bathroom was very compact.
Parking was by
valet only but we had no trouble retrieving our vehicle quickly. Since
it's not on the main strip in the city center going out required a hike
down the steep hill or a short cab ride to most activities. The
surrounding neighborhood was very nice and quiet in the evenings.
Overall this small hotel was unique, fun and a great value."

"My husband and I had a two day stop-over in Auckland on our way to Canada - stayed at the Quadrant in a Studio Room - it was so clean and the bed was so comfortable - the staff were excellent and so happy to help - it was in a good position where we were able to walk to everthing - overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay in this Hotel - we thought it was great"

"The hotel is in a great location and quite affordable. A short walk takes you to ferries, buses, and attractions. Service was great and the kitchenette is ideal for those looking to save some money on food. The in-room washer/dryer was perfect as I was mid-trip and needed to wash clothes. The beds are comfortable and rooms are relatively quiet. I would certainly stay here again.

"I stayed at the Quadrant for 6 nights while in AKL ( I was on a NZ-OZ trip for almost 3 weeks). the place is very nice, central and spotless. You can walk everywhere from the hotel and the neighborhood is very quaint..... For those familiar with San Fran, you will love it! Room is clean, large and has all facilities except washing machine for a decent price!"

"Stayed with my gf for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We got a great deal of 99NZD per night for an apartment suite. We did not expect much at that price point thus we were incredibly surprised to find the Quadrant to be a very beautiful, even chic boutique hotel located in a beautiful part of the city next to Albert park and very close to nice bar venues of Vulcan lane and High St. as well as Queen Street's eating establishments.
Highly recommended and would stay again even at a higher price point."

"In your booking confirmation you suggested to us that we should contact you if we were celebrating something special during our stay. What a lovely thing to suggest! This is the first time that I have noticed something like that on a hotel booking confirmation and I book hotels (mainly 4-5 star) around the world. I have to say I am really impressed".

"We would like to thank at The Quadrant Hotel Auckland for a very plesant stay over new year. We found the Hotel to be in an excellent position and our room gave wonderful views across Auckland. The room was modern, light and airy with first class appliances in the Kitchen area. The free WIFi made a pleasant change, in many of the other Hotels we stayed in whilst on our trip through New Zealand, we had to pay for this facility. The Hotels relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, made a great start to our holiday. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Quadrant as the place to stay when in Auckland".

"We love the reception area, the ramp down to the restaurant, the beautiful smells + candles lit up at night. Its a really beautiful setting. Its the little touches that make this hotel, the rooms are filled with beautiful features, even the smellies in the bathrooms are a nice touch. Had a very peaceful restful stay, we love this hotel hence why we are staying there again next year!"

"I was a guest at The Quadrant for 2 nights whilst attending a conference in the city. I was very impressed with the Quadrant and would very happily advise anyone to stay with you. The staff were extremely approachable and helpful. The room was lovely and I would be happy to stay for longer than I did. My car was valet parked and was back with me not long after requesting it. Staying at the Quadrant was a very pleasant experiance. Thank you".

"We stayed at your Hotel over the last three days and really enjoyed our time there. The candles and ambience was a real hit. Excellent location for out of towners to relocate to the accommodation. Great stuff, loved it and when we are in Auckland next we shall be back to stay.

Overall I was very, very happy with my stay at The Quadrant. Extremely nice people at reception, cool/chic ambientance, and my room (actually a one bedroom apt.) was very modern, extremely clean, with super comfortable bed."

"We stayed for just one night - there were four of us and it was great value. Our room on the 23rd floor even had a harbour view. We had the two-bed apartment with two bedrooms and one bathroom and sitting room; it was great - quite compactbut well designed to make the best of the space. We used the valet parking and had no problems asking for the car to be brought back to the front of the hotelat the end of our stay. The room was very clean and had a good little kitchen with everything you could want. Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable. I asked questions at reception as we don't know Auckland very well and they were answered clearly"

We came up to Auckland to attend a funeral and we were delighted to stay in such a wonderful hotel.The reception staff were efficient and very pleasant and the valet service was excellent and our car was waiting for us not long after we requested it. I would certainly not hesitate to stay at The Quadrant again and will certainly reccommend the hotel to my friends"
